A team from Griffith Universities MBA program has taken up the challenge of solving the world’s water challenge.

The Griffith team, made up of five MBA students, has been working with Impacts for the past six months to develop a business case based on Impacts solar-thermal desalination technology.

The design, based on Impacts patented Perflection® brand 3rd generation solar thermal collector, in combination with UWA and NCEDA’s advanced Multiple Effect Desalination (MED) process, aims to deliver high-performance and low cost fresh water for water-stressed regions of the globe.

The team is part of The G20 Global Business Challenge www.g20gbc.org, a global business schools competition that has attracted forty entries from top ranking schools in 18 countries.  The judging will occur just prior to the G20 Summit to be held in Brisbane
